A funny, outrageous, sometimes moving, storytelling and clowning show by Lucy Best
Directed by Patrick Bath.
As a performer I’m often asked if my content is true. It is! Honestly – I couldn’t make this sh!t up.
I’ve lived through a category 5 hurricane, held a baby dolphin as it died, was expelled from a boarding school, my younger brother is the presenter of Big Brother UK, and I’m a real life, anxiety ridden, bisexual – just to name a few things that some people find hard to be believe!
Despite the uniqueness of my life and my stories the show is relatable. Because it’s not what happened that we have in common – it’s how it made us feel.
It was an honour to premiere the show for Melbourne Fringe 2025, at Grouse Melbourne. The audience gave wonderful feedback (some quotes below) and now I’m preparing to tour the show.

Grouse even won a Fringe Award for Best Venue of the year. Congratulations to the team there. I can confirm Wes and his crew were a delight to work with.
